The Mill LA office is recruiting a staff Flame Artist. The successful candidate should be highly visually creative with an excellent knowledge of visual effects techniques and the software and hardware they operate.

Responsibilities include simple conforms through to managing complete jobs involving numerous complex compositions using both 2D and 3D elements, attending pre-production meetings and managing large workloads to be delivered on tight deadlines. A Mill Flame Artist is also expected to have a detailed knowledge of complex visual effects to the extent that they can attend shoots and advise upon the most effective ways to shoot for special effects.
Ideal candidates must also have the confidence and ability to lead meetings with clients, co-coordinating and guiding them through a group creative process, often with a great deal of diplomacy to achieve a result which is satisfactory to all.

5 years experience with Flame
