Immigration Coordinator

Technicolor Canada, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and experienced person to fill the position of Immigration Coordinator. The incumbent must have good office technology skills, organizational skills and customer service skills to assist the immigration team in a fast-paced and growing business.


  • Quickly master the Immigration Case Management System
  • Update documents and information in the Immigration Case Management System
  • Maintain electronic records in a paperless business environment


  • Create Applicant Profiles in the Immigration Case Management System
  • Update records in the Immigration Case Management System
  • Prepare and upload online applications
  • Monitor document submission deadlines and document expiry dates
  • Prepare correspondence (emails, letters)
  • Prepare reports
  • Plan and prioritize casework
  • Identify and report workload issues
  • Provide administrative support to the Immigration Service


  • College or university diploma
  • English and French proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a paralegal or administrative field (preferably in an immigration environment)
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word in particular, PowerPoint an asset)
  • Knowledge of Concur and INSZoom an asset
  • Proven ability to process multiple files concurrently
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • Good aptitude for customer service
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good research skills
  • Ability to collaborate as a team and good interpersonal skills

Coordonnateur/Coordonnatrice en immigration

Technicolor Canada, inc. est à la recherche d’une personne dynamique et expérimentée qui occupera le poste de coordonnateur/coordonnatrice en immigration. Le ou la titulaire du poste doit avoir de bonnes compétences techniques, des capacités d’organisation et des aptitudes pour le service à la clientèle pour assister l’équipe d’immigration au sein d’une entreprise dynamique en pleine croissance.


  • Maîtriser rapidement le Système de gestion des cas d’immigration
  • Mettre à jour les documents et les informations dans le système de gestion des cas
  • Tenir les dossiers dans un environnement professionnel essentiellement sans papier


  • Créer les comptes clients dans le système de gestion des cas d'immigration
  • Mettre à jour les dossiers dans le système de gestion des cas d'immigration
  • Préparer et téléverser des demandes en ligne
  • Surveiller les délais de soumission des documents et la date d’expiration des documents
  • Préparer la correspondance (courriels, lettres)
  • Préparer des rapports
  • Planifier et hiérarchiser le travail lié aux dossiers
  • Identifier et signaler les problèmes de charge de travail
  • Fournir un soutien administratif


  • Diplôme collégial ou universitaire
  • Maîtrise l’anglais et le français (parlé et écrit)
  • Avoir au moins 2 ans d’expérience dans un domaine parajuridique ou administratif (par préférence au sein d’un environnement qui touche l’immigration)
  • Solides compétences en saisie de données et souci du détail
  • Bien connaître la suite MS Office (Excel et Word en particulier, PowerPoint un atout)
  • Connaissance de Concur et de INSZoom est un atout
  • Capacité avérée à traiter plusieurs dossiers simultanément
  • Habileté à suivre les instructions avec un minimum de supervision
  • Bonne aptitude pour le service à la clientèle
  • Bonnes compétences en organisation et en gestion du temps

I am responsible for leading and managing our compensation strategy, benefits management, payroll processing, HRIS management, global mobility, internal and external HR audits, statutory compliance and policy administration.

The role involves independently manage the end-to-end aspects of service delivery on all HR Operations matters. So some of this will simply mean successfully managing the ongoing services in, some of the others involve detailed deliberation, conceptualization, analysis, project planning, implementation and change management.

Ever since I joined Technicolor in 2013, I've been privileged to have been part of several high-impact projects. The compensation re-structuring project in India enhanced our knowledge of India's direct tax laws, while the merger of two legal Technicolor entities in India and the Cisco acquisition project were great opportunities to network and explore various change management methodologies.

I love the fact that 'People Matter' at Technicolor. I am 14 years into my career and I can tell you the years I have spent in Technicolor have been some of the most memorable and productive.
