Day-to-day I oversee business development and sales for the Marketing Services group at Technicolor Hollywood. We provide premier trailer, television, and online spot post production. With more than 30 industry leaders on our production team, our boutique feel is reinforced with the global capabilities of Technicolor worldwide. Our day to day is incredibly fast paced and unpredictable, which keeps the work challenging and engaging.

Lots of the stuff that we get to work on is exciting - oftentimes we are the first post production group in the facility to work on a film, as the first trailer is often finished before the feature film's post production process has hit full swing.

The most exciting project I can remember working on in recent times would be the Gravity. It was such an amazing feat of post production, from the visual effects to the work done here by finishing artist Steve Scott. Marketing Services finished all of the trailers for that campaign and the pieces we worked on were innovative in both the post production space as well as the creative marketing space. It was a film that I was really, really proud to say we were a part of.

I consider myself lucky to have found Technicolor when I was young and relatively new in post production. I started at this company six years ago as a junior level sales person and have been able to progress in my career to overseeing sales for an entire division. I feel like Technicolor invested in me and my stock early in my work career and I am grateful to have been able to have had people believe in me and in turn reward me for my successes.

Danielle Coelho Rodrigues

I'm in charge of sales to our Brazilian customers. It's my job to analyse business opportunities with our customers, conduct negotiations and look after our long-term relationships. We aim to ensure complete customer satisfaction from the pre-sales to the post-sales stages. I also then feed back to Technicolor a whole range of information we've collated about our customer and the Brazilian market.

I love dealing with people. And from the moment we build a team for a particular opportunity to the final negotiation, it's all about people making things happen. This is the best part of my job.

One of the best things about Technicolor is that the business recognizes hard work and results. I see a lot of opportunities to progress, both here and in other countries. If you bring results and think outside the box, the recognition will come. I've already experienced that.
