MPC Academy is the Moving Pictures Company in-house finishing school – a ‘work intro’ programme for graduates and other people who want to step up into a career at one of the world’s leading VFX studios. The Academy runs in our Vancouver, Montréal and Bangalore studios and is run over 12-weeks designed to give you the skills and experience needed to deliver first class visual effects.

The recruitment Process
How does the selection process work?
With so many different roles and locations we don’t have a single, standardized selection process. Instead, the process is decentralized and divided into several phases. This means that, depending on the job and the country, different selection tools (interviews, assessments, online questionnaires, and so on) may be used.
How long after applying can I expect to hear back?
The time can vary. You may hear from us immediately or after a couple of weeks, depending on the number of people applying and how well your experience and skills match the open role. But we always try our best to contact you as soon as possible.
